View Full Version : need help texturing with shell modifier applied

I have a mesh with Shell modifier(3ds Max) applied with it

the mesh should have a different material inside and outside
but how do I set it up so I can have a different material for the inside?

currently it has the same material as the outside.

The Shell modifier has the option to use different material IDs for the in and outside(and for te edges) Why don't you use that with a Multi/Sub-Material?
