View Full Version : Character: Marley
entenweich 03-04-2003, 05:08 PM i'm doing this character for an short game-intro, using 3dsmax 5.
Throusers are still under construction...
I plan to let reactor calculate the throusers later, that's why they look like zero-gravity.
Critiques would be appreciated :)

Gave her a slightly different hair style. Looks more comic-like to me now, but i think it fits.
Originally i planed her without this urban look, but i think this greyisch look is the better one. See the original sketch below...

Hickory, i would say you are right :/
Should be better now...
Besides, i did some more improvements (boots, gloves, belt, the folding of the cloths).
Next to come is the bone-rig...

It looks good but I would fix the butt part of the pants....it looks like theres a little present in there...also...I like the hair in the drawing better...spend a little more time and make her have the long hair...I think it would add a lot to her...also the ear looks detached to me......overall it's a sound model....good job...just some minor things to work on...keep it up:thumbsup:

i think so, too, but i really don't know how to do. Since the character is going to be animated, long hair will become a real problem (btw.: i'm not really good in animation stuff).
Tipps would be most welcomed :)

about the "bulge-in-her-pants"-problem:
my mother just came through and saw the model. the first words i heard were "She got something in her pants she shouldn't have..."
:insane:
ok, i thought i'd solved the problem, but it doesn't seem so.
back to the polys again...
It's also an opportunity to fix some other mistakes by the way.

had a lot to do in the last month so there were not much enhancements.
there will be more closeup views in the movie than i originally thought there would be:annoyed: . And since i wasn't completely satisfied with the head anyway i decided to do a new one.
The head isn't finished now, but maybe you got some c&c before it is...
I also did some new eyes (basicly part of the head, but there is a singly thread , which i started in an attack of mental derangement ;) ) (eyball-thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53583))
take a look at it
cheers!
