Hi all,

I'm trying to find out what the equivalent GI Engines or approaches are in finalRender compared to Vray.

Vray has:
Irradiance Map
Photon Map
QMC
Light Cache

What are the equivalents in finalRender? I know fR has QMC, Adaptive QMC, and frImage. So, is frImage more or less the same as Irradiance mapping?

Maybe they are not fully interchangable, but any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

Yes Fr image is similar than irradiance map,but i think that itīs faster :)...optimiced for static renders...FR has other GI engine, called hyper-GI, hightly optimiced for animations, and qmc is a brute force based method...AQMC will be a new feature for R2.0
