View Full Version : Character : Lunatic
Here is my latest work. He's a really bad one. ;)
I fully rigged him and did some blendshapes for proper deformations, maybe I'll animate him, but I do prefer modelling and texturing.

His pants look like thick clay instead of cloth.

I agree about the pants simply because they are reflecting alittle too much light and they arn't really hanging on him like cloth (This could be just in contrast to the sweater which is realistic and grainer). I like the flesh tones and the mask is cool! Nice job!

that's an interesting picture, creepy. Did he cut off his ears?
The pants could use some work.

Yeah I just think the holes in the pants look more like melted plastic or somthing maybe you should just you opacity maps instead of trying to model the holes and make them a little more jagged
Thanks for your comments.
Ok, I agree about the pants texture. That's his weak part. And they're modelled and not a cloth simulation so they just don't react properly when bending into the more extreme poses.
I added the modelling pose.
And concerning his ears, some texture details:

Very cool, he's a lunatic alright! Maybe you could paint some seams or other details on the trousers, like you did for the sweater. Really good textures overall.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked. But I won't change things. You know, got to move on. But I learn from my mistakes (hopefully :) )

Really cool in a really creepy way!
Love the details of the too tight wire holding on the mask and the cut off ears are sweet.
Nice work, let's see some anims...
