Here is my Steven Seagal bust (before he let himself go!)
Yet to add his trademark Ponytail(stupid me forgot to add it before exporting to zbrush!)
Unsure whether to build body yet-will see how this comes out when normal mapped.
Tri count so far is 2600,going to add ponytail,inside mouth and teeth.

And by this I mean he looks just like good old stevie :>
Cant complain about anything at this stage. Tricount is a bit high but nowadays 2000 tris for face isn't too much. So good job and hope to see it textured soon!

Highly recognizable even without textures, great job! The low poly version is even very clean. Good job so far on the model.
Are you going to do any textures? I look forward to seeing waht you do next.

living_the_dream-thanks,yeh tried to keep good edge flow,pretty much all quads.Will be texturing him.
frostu-thanks, just grabbed lots of pics from google-irl he was really thin at beginning of acting career and now he has ballooned.I have gone for the look where he is just starting to fill out Under Siege/On deadly ground
ElFuego- thanks,yeh tri count touch high will optimise later,following Mindrots excellent vampire bust i set a slightly lower budget of 2000-25000 tris but may increase if i model teeth etc-if i were to make him ingame character i will probably aim for 5000-6000 tris but may go ott and do 10000+

wow that is neck snappingly cool :P once thing i would maybe reccomend is getting rid of most of the polys in the ear and letting the normal map bring out that small area. could save you a couple hundred tris. looks awesome

One concern is that his face seems a tad flat in the cheek/cheek bone department. He does seem to have quite a flat cheek area, but there is still some sort of subtle deffinition there.
Good work though...
That is a damn good likeness you have done a top job with the modelling.

Normal map now on lopoly bust.Light setup is not final.Yet to optimise.Added simple ponytail.
normal map fits perfectly,you cant tell if thats a low poly model.
Great work,cant wait to see how you handle textures :)

Nice work mate, really looking like the actor.
i would have put the ponytail a tad higher however.

Freewaldo-see your point on ponytail-however used ref pic from "Marked for Death" matches up fairly well.

Looks great Paul.
One smaaaaall thing.... and it is small- the lobes on the ears look a bit hard and a tad small.
Anyway, I'm keen to see what you do with the texturing.
PS: A huge improvement over your last work :thumbsup:

It totally looks like Steven Seagal! Great job! The likeness is uncanny.

Here is the finished ver,could have tweaked some more but overall pretty happy with the result.
My budget was 2500 tri's for this bust (in actual fact in came in just under).
Used Basic Translucent shader with reflection at 50% coupled with 1 diffuse,spec and normal map at 1024x1024
Was going to go with a fatter version of Mr Seagal but decided on earlier career,spare him some blushes.

thanks mindrot,your thumbs up well received.
Adjusted spec map and lowered lighting to reduce glossiness.
Pony tail to head join looks slightly distorted with normal map.This came about after some last minute optimising,does not show with diffuse texture however.
