This character is for an u2003 mod myself and some friends are working on.

I was kinda stuck in keeping the humanoid figure fo design reasons.

Comments and crits are welcome. I'd like to get this guy up to 3k polies, some suggestions as to what I can add would be great.

SHoulder armor or maybe some sort of mask or something on his head, because his head looks kinda well empty.. :wip:

But appart from that the model looks great :thumbsup:

Cheers Tec - I'm going to add some stuff to the forearm, just something to break up the silhoutte in that area.

The head crit gave me some ideas too, thanks, I'm planning on giving him a kind of headset thing.

i would suggest some details at the arms (or some armor at the arms) and as mentioned before something for his head would be great, mask or something else..

Updated , thanks for the comments and crits.

Tec - - thanks - I tried adding some shoulder armour, it made him look too top heavy though. I balanced the weight out by giving him the forearm device.

Mcf - - cheers - I made him the face plate you can now see, with eye piece, mike and false ear.

Hes 2346 tris now, so if theres anything else you can think of, post it up :)

looks definetly better. especially with the details at the the forearm, because on your first pic it was too "simple" :)

The model is "finished".. Still open to criticisms, I'm gonna rig him(eep @ the tubes on the arm), and unwrap him, then get him into UT2k3.

The polycount is 2982, I'll probably top that out with alpha maps around the mesh.

C&c most welcome.

Major lee high - glad you like the face. The mesh is built so that I can make him blink and open his jaw.. Unfortunately the mod he was for looks to be dead. I'm still going to get him in UT2k3 as a ppm.

Omita - Thanks :)

Lordmachuca - Total tri count is 2982. The main offenders are those tubes, on the left arm. As well as the number of polies I pushed into the armour when I had finished. I could optimise the hell out of it :) But theres nothing i could really add without cluttering the mesh up too much.
Glad you like the arm definition, each arm and hands - before accessories are 282 tri's.
