Is it possible to have maya like camera control in cinema. you know when you press ALT+mousekey1 it rotates the camera, ALT+Scroll it zoom's and ALT+mousekey2 it pans the camera?

is this possible in someway?

no, but do make a suggestion , not necessarily for maya like camera controls but for the ability to customize caomera controls with keyboard commands and such, the more people that request the sooner something may happen with it.

ANytime you have a suggestion make sure to submit it here, I think they also prefer if oyu send one suggestion per message so its easier to organize and archive.

hi neods,
in c4d you can move the camera:
- left, right, up, down = 1+LMB
- forward, backwards = 1+RMB
- zoom in,zoom out = 2+LMB (you can also with the mouse wheel zoom)
- camera turn (in relation to the selected object) = 3+LMB/RMB

cool dude, didnt know that. I used Maya PLE for a few days and really loved the way of moving the camera. Cool to know cinema has this allso
