Excellent work :)
Very nice, could be a bit more dramatic in the foreground/background contrast (seems to blend in together a bit now). But I love it, as I love most of your stuff :)

Could you explain a bit about your technique? And is this done in Painter?

I still want posters of the first images you posted some time ago :) Looks very good, have to agree with jeroentje though, a little more contrast between fore/background would bring out the characters more I think...

I like it, but my eyes don't know where to go. Like jeroentje said, the foreground and the background seems to blend together a little too well. My attention isn't certain where it should focus.
None the less, it's great work. What did you use?

your eyes not knowing where to go is probably intentional, afterall its a battle, its chaos. :)

awesome work

Wow nice dynamic effect...love the blur.
I think the back ground comes forward too much because the reds seem overly saturated for background elements, ie the characters lying on the ground. Thats why we dont know where to focus.

Really original style! nice to see something new:-)

unbelievable. your work as usaul is impeccable. i love this style. i would like to talk to you if you have icq or a email i could message you at.

this one seems to be more....for the lack of a better word "flat"...missing the bevels and lighting of your last work. not to take away from it at all, its just as excellent. it just slightly varys from the last set you posted. :) i like both.

I like it, it reminds me of the armor and ordinance design from "Jin Roh: Wolf Brigade". I think the reason the veiwer doesn't know where to look is the character in the forground is not as eye catching as the bright reds used on the fallen soldiers in the background.

Don't change the contrasting though, I like the fact that the overall image is somewhat monotone with splashes of color, it gives the piece unity. But soften those harsh reds on the two fallen soldiers, those colors aren't balanced with the rest of the pieces.

mmm... very nice! I like this picture (reminds me that I should find a moment to play Unreal Tournament 2003, hehe ;) ). Where can we see your online gallery? I would like to see other examples of your technique. I like the strength and spontaneity of this picture.

Excellent work. But who are they fighting? You must make another picture to show us the enemies.

X-ellent!!

I really have nothing to complain about regarding the technique (partly because I can't do anything remotely as good).

However one small cosmetic issue: I wouldn't like to be one of those soldiers/fighters because they're clad in such bright colours. My first impression is that it seems a bit illogical: they don't want enemies to spot them, right?

Other than that - GREAT work...

Nurofen, Antimatter, Mickey11, Lord Dubu, Gotham, XTBAD, The Hellmaster, Neaty, Dzpday, Eye>> Thank you for your comments and advices

Jeroentje, Mr FeelNothing>> Thanks. Yes i work with painter. In fact, I start directly with watercolors brushes for give an idea of global luminosity. Then i used pastels tools to make assemble th e values. I also use pentone brushes to obscure or to clear up.

Urgaffel>>Hé man, your mailbox was full when i testes to send your pictures. I'll try soon :)

Illogic>>Sorry not to have given you answers. I'm very busy in this moment. My MSN Messenger is the same adress that my e-mail. See you soon:thumbsup:

Akela>>I don't have website yet. It's coming very soon

Stipen>> Merci mec tu me fais plaisir là!!!!Mais ton taf il est où?

This is a really, really great picture. I am imagining what the battle would look like in motion. This is a great piece of work! Keep it up! :applause:

Do you have any concept images of either of the two kinds of soldiers? It would be awsome if you could post them so we can take a look.

Hurry up with your next project... I'll be waiting. :)

nice i like the painting a , but the gun does'nt make any sense, the ammo is being fed into the barell, not the receiver as it should. but nice...

:applause: GREAT JOJO!! Like your last draws... i love the way you use painter to give feeling of paint, and brush... Like we say it"pète sa mère". I like the way you suggest the light on characters. Juts a thing... (criticise is easy but art difficult...) Just I find a bit that the all "paint" composition is just a bit flat : background and back charaters have a bit same color and light value. Something like... Project darker roof shadows on back characters... or make the main left soldier shooting with his gun, and make background darker to simulate the contrast of flash.. Hmm thats just an idea...
ANYWAY thats GREAT job dude... We all wait the next..!!
Ciao!

Pretty faultless stuff

The only oddity to me is the church in the background. It's in sharp focus. I assume you've used a photo as reference for something and haven't bothered smudging that piece up?

Thanx everyone for your comments :)

Bliz>> I haven't use photo here. By the way i never use photos. I don't use filters either. Some brushes are adapted to give specific render. Like wood, metal, water, etc... Just find it!
