Developed by Toonstruck Animation, TOONTRACK is a set of
PHP scripts working along with a mySQL database
that can be installed onto a facilities web server and used
with or without modification (code can easily be customized
as needed). Additionally, TOONTRACK offers a free-use
version available to everyone at http://toontrack.toonstruck.com/
Key Features:
- Password protected logins for each team member or client.
- Ability to assign tasks to others on the project. And the
ability to accept or decline the result.
- Submit dailies to be reviewed by another user or a group.
- Browse sequences and shots to see what tasks, dailies, assets,
and notes are associated with that seq/shot and what status it is in.
- Seperate notes and status information for layout, animation, lighting, effects, etc.
- Load, Import, Reference files in Maya from TOONTRACK.
- Check-out and Check-in files into Maya. Keep users from overwriting
files while it is being modified by another user.
- Version history and control for Maya files. Incremental save with notes
attached to each version to detail the changes. Revert back to previous versions
at any time.
System Requirements:
- Online "FREE-USE" version requires a web browser and Maya for those features
that use Maya animation software. *TOONTRACK functions with or without Maya.*
- To have TOONTRACK installed on your web server requires PHP and mySQL. Purchase
price includes installation and testing.
