Building a jet. Modeled, unwrapped and textured one side. I've duplicated it, reversed it. Everything is Frozen. When merging or blending I'm losing my uv info. I don't know why.

I often have problems with the uvs screwing up when merging... I've found that when I get problems it's when one or more of the objects has mutiple uv sets. When I delete the bad uvs, then merge, everything goes as planned. Don't know if this is what you are experiencing but thought I'd chime in. XSI 6 has been very buggy for me when extracting polygon/islands, merging, and/or UV mapping.

what happens often if you have clusters on each object, and you merge, to see the uv's for each cluster you have to select them first, and then go to the texture editor, otherwise it'll show all weird if you dont select a cluster, since it tried to display all of the uv's from the obj.

If you have multiple sets of UVs that you want to keep, click Edit Transfer. You have complete control over which properties get transferred and how they are merged.
