called this one "teddy protects me" haha
its about how children imagine they can scare of an already imaginary thing. so the bogey man looks quite confused.
bit less than 60 mins

Here's my guard. He's where i want to be. 1Hr

AyaXiac - I like your guard's stance. His weighting on his foot. and also the colours...
Embryotic - She feels like some sort of a medieval silver surfer... Its a challenging perspective you've chosen :) I feel like if she was a bit darker around her feet it might give her some weight.
Raynoa - Who's in control? that dude looks like he's soiling his pants... lol:)
Santo - loving his shades!

By now you guys probably know I am obsessed with the idea of viewing things through a camera, I tired to give this a sci fi film noir like feel to it, not sure if I got it right, perhaps the verticle flare doesnt look right since it is cut?
I guess the whole idea was to show the guard, gaurding something, I originally wanted to put a fence, or gate in but maybe later.

After years of lurking on CGTalk, my first uploaded sketch - sadly I went over a bit on this one (got caught up modelling the right hand, still looks weird) so I'd say about 1hr 15mn or so, plus 5 - 10 mins on original rough scanned sketch.

Completed in Photoshop.
ray-noa - really like the colors you picked for that one...
elzilcho - hehe cool - now put some color on it!
Lucas - long time no see - things have happened, and I like it..
SantoAnderson - a classic piece - love his glasses hehe...
AyaXiac - very good...
Shawshank - hehe, really like it...
Iryngo - took some time to see what it was - now it's an elephant, right!! hehe...
so many good ones - everybody - great entries...
a concept for one of the wall guards that walked along the great wall of china when it all began... oh, just put some wood in his hat... hehe..
PS/wacom about one hour... really need to get more involved...

Hi,
I've been watching this formu for a long time, but never participated. But I got a new wacom tablet today, so I decided to throw in my first sketch :). Far away from being nice or competitive with yours, but that's not the purpose :). I would like to join here on a regular basis and I hope my skills will be improving .. so enough talking, here's the pic:
