Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered before, but I've been all through these forums and can't seem to find a straightforward answer.

I recently tried Deep Paint 2.1, and as impressed as I was by everything it can do, I was surprised to learn it was only compatible with olders versions of Max and Photoshop, and that it hasn't been updated in years. My question, therefore, is what program exists today that does what DP does, but is compatible with modern software?

Any and All Help is Appreciated,
Coll

P.S.- I'm more or less familiar with pelt mapping in Max, so a program that does that isn't completely necessay, but it would probably be a big help.

Saw a thread on this on another list, and it seems that a lot of people are using BodyPaint 3D by Maxon these days. Also, a number of folk recommended modo, whose new version has paint built in. And some people are checking out zbrush's paint tools. So if Deep Paint isn't doing it for you, you may wish to check out these other 3.
