would low profile memory make a huge difference in regards to physical memory height???

what is the difference between low profile DDR and regular DDR ???

i assume you are talking about the physical height of the ram? in that case there is no difference, other than (wait for it...) the physical height of the ram. designed typically for low profile systems (1RU rackmount cases, etc).

low profile DDR dimms are available... gonna use them if i run into a problem with space in my case for the 5th and 6th slot on my mobo...

There are sometimes serious issues with mixing normal height ram, and half height ram. Either do all of one, or all of the other.

Also make sure the system even supports it...some don't.

Its probably cheaper to buy a new case, then to buy low profile ram :).
