View Full Version : photon light leakage
AAAron 03-07-2007, 02:26 PM Am I missing something or are these types of light leakage normal? Shouldnīt the geometry block the photons?

Here is a project file:

Basicly itīs a cube with two rooms inside the top room got a panellight, the lower one no light (thatīs the room you see in the picture)

Are the walls and cieling one piece? if not then that's the source of your problem. happens in all photon based engines
Hope that helps

All of the geometry are one piece, I even added a chamfer in the corners since I heard that straight 90 degrees angles can cause light leakage. Also checked the normals.

Could you post it to the bugtracker together with your image and sample scene? Seems like a bug to me.
