hi everybody!
here is the interior scene where i wanted to create a cosy atmosphere. it was a personal project, mostly to study the interior lighting, so your critics are welcome!:)

A very calm and nice environment! I like it very much. The colour of the light makes the room very peaceful.
Maby the corner looks a bit strange... The wooden panel is ok but the wallpaper part seems a bit rounded to me.

looks really nice. for pointing something maybe the lamp are too white, I mean, textureless, adding some bump or rugosity...

The hole image looks great, very realistic. The atmosphere in there is fantastic. Congrats Tanja, great work.

The finish on the table is especially nice. The wall paper is very cool - kind of retro, kind of Victorian or Edwardian, and kind of Florentine, all mixed together. The corner does get a little lost by having two lights so near each other, but overall it has a good, realistic feel to it.

By the way, when I first saw the title of this piece "The Smoking Room", I thought I was going to see the office smoking room from the short British comedy series (The Smoking Room). But that's beside the point.

Hi Tanja, I like this image oveall and think it works well in terms of your stated objectives. From a personal point of view, I have to agree with Varjen, that the corner looks stange. I would have tried locating the light on the left hand wall over the chair instead of in the corner. I also find the light in the top right hand corner a bit 'disturbing', since it has no obvious point of attachment. I'm undecided if the bowl on the table is a little too bright, but, having said that, it does draw my eye back into the scene :)

Take care and keep up the good work,

Mike
