well, i watched your site, and i noticed some things that could help you if you want some help :

1- The main splash page, is too big for a first page : 54ko for only one image is too big for those who don't have fast connections, Think of them ;) . maybe try to separate it in more parts, like four parts optimized in jpg, then it will be usefull to upgrade the quality without having a too heavy splash.

2- the idea of "mywin" window is excellent. I like this kinda scripts, but is it really usefull for site like this, coz in this one you have scrolling for the gallery or downloads ? This kinda window is used generally for one page, without scrolling, all is in this window.

3- the main menu is in flash ? why ? there's no animations on it so why putting more weight to load in flash when you could do this buttons in jpeg ? And plus, the texts on it are not really easy to read. Maybe try to change the bgcolor of the button, or change the font.

4- The font in the inside pages are too big. Maybe try to get more space by reducing it, then you'll have more space for the images.

Well that's all, but i think the idea is cool :)
Try to work more on designing the whole main pages, by putting some backgrounds of your work in a low opacity for example. Don't forget you're presenting your work, and it means your site should be in correlation with your excellent 3D work ;)

The scrolling problem is rip now !!!
The menu with the flash is less kilobytes than the pictures itself.

i still have scroll on gallery and downloads... :( about flash, that's ok for the weight, but if you use flash, think to add a link for downloading flash plugin for those using old navigators ;) (i know it's not often, but it's more professional ;) :) )

no ! no ! that's a good start !! really ! I just want to give some help that's all... i think you just have to work more on fonts inside the site, even if some are titles, maybe just try to reduce the size, and then it will be more esthetic i think. But i don't want you to change all... i just give my opinion, take it easy :) :)
