Title: Dead Bug
Name: Cem Tezcan
Country: Turkey
Software: Modo
Modelling was done in 30 minutes. Render time is about 45 minutes. Textures and all other things has been made in Modo 202 except HDR image of my room and the floor marble texture.
Modo 202 has really good modelling structure and very beautiful material & render system. Hope you like this. A bit of basic, for now, but will be better next time.
And the picture below is an object painted light test.

looks great, and the rendering is good.
I like bugs, and when I was a kid I liked to study them under the microscope. A lot of fascinating details like hair, claws, tiny openings and so on... I think your model cold be terrific if you took ti to the "next level"!

Thanks friend. You're right. Perhaps with use of Zbrush it would be done. Will try my best next time. And also bugs have really incredible designs in nature. They're mixture of mechanical and organical life forms. I love them... While they're not around near though :D

really nice picture Cem :) Congratulations!! 4* keep it up
I love the lighting and color scheme.
Just one remark, my own opinion maybe need just a little bit fur on the legs

Thanks Gunther :) Unfortunately Modo 202 has no fur modifer. But it should be done with modelling tiny hair blades and put them on the legs. Or hair should be post produced with photoshop maybe.. You're right.. I will try my best next time. Thanks for opinion. See you friend :)
