Sweet colour Ikuru - especially the outline - really makes it pop! (Its bringing LOVE - KILL IT!)

I havent sketched in a while but was playing with colouring using Gradient Map adjustment layer - works quick and its quite fun!

Here's my visualisation of Pure EVIL. - Raw tofu, Wooden Clogs and really slow old people that wont get out of your way when you're walking down the street...

I totaly forgot about the daily sketch today, and after work ended up doing a sketch for a painting I thought of a few days ago, which was about my ex, so i guess it works!

except it was more like an hour to an hour and 20 min.... so I ran overtime.... all well.
I used photoshop. Its more a symbolic piece, while putting a bunny's head in acid would be evil, there is a concept behind it.

Hey there's some cool stuff going down!

Ivy00 - I like the sense of movement your wispy snake-demon has.

Ikuru - Soooo creepy. Pure genius.

embryotic - I like the sense of focus. It feels almost like the viewer is on fire or something.

Its Guido - Faaaar! friken awesome as per usual. You reminded me to keep up with the anatomy drawings. Choice one brother.

Iryngo - I enjoy the creepy look in the character's right eye... and his shifty eyebrow

CodeNothing - dude. This is both sooo cool, and yet sooo wrong at the same time. Actually its very cool. But i must say the hard, hard edge on the circle shape is kinda aliasing a bit and is distracting for me... A very minor critique... :)

Shawshank - thanks man the soft focus just came with using a very large soft brush
Its Guido - cheers, but I think im missing sharp edges to contrast the soft ones (or something) - Great sketch - you ever heard of threaded.co.nz ? you should submit some paintings
Codenothing - you put the rabbit in the acid... thats pure evil.... but it seems to be an evil bunny - probably had it coming. Whats the concept?

Shawshank - thanks . I think movement was more of my focus rather than the thing itself :) Your pencil sketch is pretty cool I think it would make a great painting

Hi everyone !

I'm following this topic for quite a few moment, so now I've decided to participate, this is my firts entry, and my first real sketch in photoshop. don't hesitate to give me any advices, or do as many crits as you want as I'm willing to learn as fast as possible. I'm totally ashame to post what I've done here as I'm a complete beginner (and in comparaions to every other sketches...), I use to traditionnaly paint, and now I'm trying digital...

What you've all done is just amazing, If I may, I particulary like itsguido, calisto and ikuru ones....How on earth do you do such thing, in such short time ??? Ikuru I juste love your image, the character, the colors, the expression, it's all quite impressive!

Itsguido I love how you worked this monochromatic tones, it gives a real great atmosphere.

and oh codenothing, I must admit that the concept is a bit...hard, but I really like it to!

so, god it's hard, here is mine :
I made it in Ps and I used my whole new Wacom tablet, but I completely overpassed the time limit, it took me about 2h30 i think... mm well now I'm just going to run and hide.
