I think youŽve seen this before.
When I want to rotate just one axis with manipulator, you see in channel box, that all 3 axis are rotated actualy. Bad think, because my wrist (connected to X) is twisted.
So I rotated them from channel box, but thereŽs something wrong with rotation manipulator. 2 axis are nearly in the same position!
(bad too, cause I canŽt bend down the wrist)

Does anybody know how to fix this or is there some work-around?

This is a very common problem, called Gimbal lock. When you begin to rotate one bone too much, it may cross over to the other side and start to rotae in the opposite direction. Or if you go too far in y rot, then Z and X are almost the identical movement. You may have to re-skin him and add an extra bone.

yes, that Gimbal Lock, IŽve heard about him, sometimes I see him in my nightmares :annoyed:

thanX dmcgrath, IŽll try to solve it by limiting rotation of the bones.

GREAT! problem solved out!

IŽve limited the rotation of the 2 (deformation) bones for the wrist and the axis is going right now, no problem with posing the hand.

thanx for tip dmcgrath :)
