Hi

I was previously registered here as Terminal24 but that was back in 2002 and I've kinda lost my password since then ;)

I've recently stumbled into Cinema4d and think its rather nice, especially seeing how I switched to mac last year and have been chomping at the bit for a nice 3d soft.

Although, a rather large problem has reared it's ugly head. I can't make FlashEx render out in isometrics. I just get a white screen or an output from the stage camera in perspective.

Does anyone know anything about this problem? I gave it a search on the internet, but came up dry. I am aware that flashex is not as good as the toon shader & illustrator export, but I was hoping to get this directly into flash.

Major oversight by Cinema4d or bug in the machine?

Any replies welcomed.

Thats a known and documented limitation of Flashex.
Flashex only supports the perspective camera.

If you have Sketch & Toon though it can output Illustrator files that can then be brought into Flash, it's just that the FlashEx plugin which is totally seperate form Sketch & Toon is rather limited.

should note sketch and toon has quite a few types of views that don't work as well, simple fact is how many line rendering algos work is using depth info that an isometric view doesn't really have
