Title: Flight Deck
Name: Anders Lejczak
Country: Sweden
Software: CINEMA 4D

This is a second render using my A4 Skyhawk model - this time standing on the flight deck and not swooshing through the air. Modeled and rendered with C4D (R9.6). The people and airplanes in the background are from a photo.

The previois render can be viewed here:

WIP images can be viewed here:

Some details aren't visible in the resized image so I suggest you take a look at the full one.

Mate awesome work love it:buttrock:

I believe your cement needs to be finer, looks a bit like loose gravel:shrug: I mean it could be fine it just looks a little 2 bumpy

The perspective is great, so is the Depth of Feild (DOF). Does that texture on the ground have bump? It looks good, maybe a little less bumpy. It's a good composite too with the real photo in the background.

The Skyhawk model looks good, but I think thoes two cloth strips on the front of the craft looks like it should have some more texture on it. The 3D model looks a little sharp too, maybe you could have the edges blend into the background more. Good work overall.:)

awesome, looks very realistic bazze.
i'm sure any 'non-3dmodeler' wouldn't even pickup the differences mentioned above, but it's good to know for the next model ;0

lets see this baby FLY!!

You can see it fly here: Link (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=466916)

I see that I need to clearify better what is 3D and what is not.
3D parts:
-Airplane
-Ladder
-Cloth
-Wheelbrakes/stoppers

2D parts:
Background (sky, people, F18s, ground)

This pic isn't up to date with the last render but here you can see the mesh integrated with the background before I added the ladder, brakes and the cloth strips:

Yes, very good. I really like the blending of the photo and 3D work. Very well done. It flows very good. Not seems and the lighting is perfect. The modeling is very detail and also very well done. Great job. Top notch.

AnalyseSomething....the "loose gravel" is not cement. It is a substance painted on the deck known as "terrazo". Used for keeping a good foothold on a tossing deck. As someone who served in the navy and sat on this material, which IS like sitting on loose gravel, it isn't comfortable, and from this angle does look like this. This material is also used on outside ladders and steps for better footing....
