hello everyone,
I've a problem texturing (in 3ds max 9) a wall with arches and windows.
The model is quite simple, anyway I need to use a couple of uvw maps (a box uvw map isn't enough ;) ) ... here encountered the problem and so there's the question:
how can I apply different uvw maps to the same model so that I have a single uvw map after unwrapping it??

I watch a video in which a guy makes what I'm looking for:
1- he first select the faces he want to give the uvw map
2- apply the uvw map
3- right click on "uvw mapping" in the modifier list --> click on "collapse to"
4- he repats 1,2 and 3 a couple of times (for all the parts he want to give different uvw map)
5- then modifier list -> uvw unwrap and magically he finds in the new windows all the parts he mapped before

I tried to do the same but I got this message:
"warning: this will remove a portion of the stack of all selected objects -- from cration parameter to and including, uvw mapping"
if I click "yes" and after do everything he does in the video, when I unwrap I had only the last uvw map I applied ...

... how can I do that then?

Tnx you very much!!

Cheers,
Teo.
