I just joined CGTalk and wanted to share what I've been working on in my spare time, between projects.

The puppy also has a lipsysnc test at:
http://www.rowsby.com/Anim_Meat_R1.htm

Currently building a camera mapped environment for the final animation.

Here is a view of the updated paw pads on the character, with fur growing between flex areas.

The file size restrictions here cause me to have to jpeg the image too much, which distorts the colors. This looks far more green than the real thing. Sorry. :P

Cool! I remember seeing you model this ages ago on the Lightwave newsgroup... Was kinda a shame to see all those awsome muscles you modelled get covered up :surprised but it does look 10 times better covered in fur.

Also, when I was perusing newsgroups I came across this pic (http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~joshua.y/forumpic/werewolf.jpeg) which I though you might like. I don't know who the artist is (anyone?) but it's a damn gnarly looking werewolf that reminded me of yours. Great work  Easily the best CG werewolf I've ever seen!

Thanks for the kind words.

The software is Lightwave 7.5 and Sasquatch 1.5 ver GI. G2 was used for a touch of subsurface scattering an on the fleshy, non-furred parts of the model..

The artist who did that drawing of the werewolf who's URL you posted, is done by Jamie Sidor.

I have an X-ray page of the character's whole body at:

http://www.rowsby.com/Quentin_Moon_Xray.html

It supports IE and Netscape / Moz.

I also have some fun QTVR's of him. The full body is:

The direct link to the lip sync test for the puppy is:

I've lurked here everyday for the last 4 months or so. I've never commented on peoples works, but I HAD to comment on this.
HOLY COWS!!!!! This is amazing!! The facial animation test is excellent and the model is almost perfect!!
I hope you are doing to be using this for a larger project, its just too good to leave alone.

PS: if you haven't already, try to rent a copy of "Dog Soliders"
