Hi, I'm new here :)

I've to create the an avatar, modelling it as an human body.

Well, the question is, where can I find nice tutorials to make it seems real... The thing I've created now reminds me Spok of Star trek... not pretty at all.

I've a lot of problems with the head (face) and the hands... the rest is more or less ok.

thx 4 all

Hey Memento,

How good is your perception of anatomy? Maybe you're rusty with the head/hands - if you are, check on some reference pics, or even use them to model ...

If theres a problem with your technique (which it doesn't sound like), you can find several tutorials online about modeling, and subdivision modeling...

Post a picture if you're in doubt, maybe some of the more experienced users on the board can give you some insight as to what you may be doing wrong, or how you can improve.

My problem is the anathomy... I've to train witch lines of the body are significants, where put more polygons and so on...
Are there some tutorials, or free pics sets that could help me?
I've tried to search a bit, but I've not found what I search... not yet I hope.
