I rendered an animation in 3ds max at 24 fps in Quicktime format and brought it into After Effects 5.0. When I run ram preview or try to render it, the animation is not smooth at all. I even tried the same clip in Premier and got the same results. However, when I put the clip in a simpler program like Vegas Video it rendered very smooth. No matter what settings I make in rendering I get the same results. Does anyone have any idea why Adobe cannot play this animation smoothly?
