that is a nice start.. you already have most of your work cut out for you. i'm not sure how much you know about digital painting, but try this:

in photoshop or painter, put your drawing on its own layer on top of everything else and set it to "Multiply", and paint away on the layers below. you might want to up the contrast on the dwarf, since practically everything is masked in gray -- you want to leave some white areas so the colors underneath don't get muddled.
this is just a preference, but i also like adding my final highlights on a new layer above everything else so they lay down really thick.
