View Full Version : Instrument: Bronze Violin (WIP)
ChiralSym 03-02-2003, 07:11 AM Hi everyone,
Please give me feedback about a violin I've been modeling.

Also, please give me any feedback, or ideas, you can think of about my sub-d methodology/workflow. The first two pages of the thread on www.dvgarage.com have some explanations of how I made it.
Sincerely,

I can fault your model, the only thing I would suggest is that you make a suitable background for it. It's a great model and you've obvously put your heart it. If you could put it on say an old wooden stage framed by a spotlight or some other atmospheric setting, you would have a beautifull scene without a doubt.
If you had it laying on a muddy field it would still be brilliant because the model is so strong.
good work fella :airguitar

Hi just do 3d,
Thanks for the compliment and advice.
Sorry I don't know about guitar pictures. As for violin pictures, I simply did a search on www.google.com. It turns out that a few on-line stores which sell violins have orthographic pictures of violins (top, back, side). Maybe some guitar sellers or makers do the same?
Best of luck for your picture hunting.
Sincerely,
