Hello all,

A simple question here. Never did a rig before, so now I’m trying to find my way with the Flabian rig tutorial, from the maxon dvd.

Just at the very end while setting up the expresso controllers I discovered that the joints of the eyes are in the wrong position.

What is the correct way of moving them to the correct place without messing everything up?

I tried by disabling the skin deformer but I guess I need to do something with the weights also, don’t I?

Searching the forum I found the Unbind command in a few messages, but I cannot find this in C4D itself (R10) nor in the help file.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards, Robert

Can't you just select the areas of the mesh affected by the joints and give them a value of 0, or paint 0 on the joints, then move them and reweight the verts?

desactivate the skin object
move the joints
set pose in the weight tag
re-activate teh skin object

Well, thank you both.

I asked the question to avoid what Kanga suggested, Maharadja's solution was what I was hoping for; works great.
So I gues that the "unbind" function that I mentioned no longer exists in R10?

Thanks again borth.

Kind regards, Robert

its unneeded unbinding is the same as turning off the skin deformer.
