Final render working with R10?

I can confirm here only that the fR Stage 2 works ok with R10 (Windows). It still has got certain minor issues (which are probably being corrected as you read this) but they do not seem to be connected with the version of C4D.

I have no idea why it won't start on your system. If you moved your installation to another computer, you'll probably have to reinstall it (just moving the folder to another computer won't work). If it doesn't help, I suggest to contact directly Cebas tech support or to pose the question also at their support forum (http://www.cebas.de/forums/smf/index.php?board=21.0).

And I of course just use the Cinema root folder, as I assume I should.
I haven't made any services pack updates on Final render since I got it 18 February, 2006 but don't know if that have anything to do with anything here.

I would definitely get any service packs that have come out for it. Remember that service packs are in fact new versions of the software not just minor bugfixes and security fixes :D, they could be called Final Render Stage 2.01... 2.02... etc, and are generally made in order to not just fix bugs but add features and more importantly resolve compatability issues.

The new relased service pack (service pack2) have the installer also for Cinema4d R10! ;)

From what could be read in the Cebas unofficial Cinema 4D fR Beta Blog (http://blog.zoobox.co.uk/category/Cinema-4D/) - I sincerely doubt that any fR version before the release of SP1 would work in C4D R10. They had serious problems to make the initial version of the Stage 2 to work even in 9.52...:twisted:
