Crits and comments, need a good scratched metal bump map if anyone has one?

Wow...I wouldnt want to be his prey. Hes looks extremely sharp and fierce.

As of now I can only crit the shininess of his skin...Looking very much like metal...Not sure if you have fixed the lighting or if you are going to add bump/scale maps?

His arms look to be a touch too long. Maybe they need to be beefed up a little to counter act his sharp nails and armour?

Im really digging the coloring...

Maxsmackage, have you seen Shaneb's SD preditor, or preditor kid, anyways you might wanna take a look at it its got alot of detail, for its size.

suggestions
The torso, needs work, check out alot of anatomy stuff, since the preditor is basically a noid so he has alot of the same proportions.

The predator also has very well defined pectoral's, and abs, your abs seem far to square, and the ribcage need attention

His butt doesn't smooth off of his lower back it seams to just stab out of it.

And his cod piece doesn't look like is acctually contains anything, which might distress Mr pred if he ever ments a nice girl pred.

The texutre stretches everywhere, get some good mapping going, and the texture need alot of work, it looks kinda precedural.

Good thin I didn't say finished chracter lol... Texture mapping sucks nuts, made his arms slightly bulkier, smoothed out his ribcage, bulked his cod peice thing slightly, all of which you rpolly can't see 'caus ethis render is too damn dark, but I'm kinda busy so its gonna have to do.

everything seems to have that slight "computer look" to them.

A very solid start.

I'm a big Predator fan.

As far as modeling techniques go, pay attention to the abs and ribcage.

As far as character likeness goes, pay attention to the mouth, blades, and skin texture.

The mouth is an intricate maze of flaps and openings that is probably going to be a big pain.

The blades look good in profile, though they look like they could be less rounded.

The skin texture can be based on green or brown... but I don't know if it can be both - not sure.

The Dreads look cool, got the right shine to them - I think they could be lengthened and... maybe thickened? Plus I think there are multiple rows of them on the back - again, not sure.

Good start though, man!

Let me know if you haven't had any texture help yet!
