Title: Konketsuji
Name: Indira Ischwara
Country: Australia
Software: Photoshop
An Asian girl with blue eyes, I named this image "Konketsuji", which is a Japanese word for "a child of mixed blood or race". Done in Photoshop in about 6 hours.
I tried to make her look as 3D as possible.
Hope you like her. :)

Nice hair :) The face is pretty, and the cloth patterns are awesome as well. I think you did get to a certain extent in making it seem 3D, but perhaps some skin texture on the face?

Thanks for the c&c Yihyoung! Skin texture is next to next on my list. :D I will keep trying to improve my characters! Thanks. :)

Good work though I agree about the skin texture suggestion. The shadows should be coloured instead of "blackened", it would work better ;) Some colour variations in the skintones would add a lot to this picture IMO :)

she's quite cute, and i like the concept of asian girl with blue eyes, a bit reminescent of Memoirs of a Geisha. what bothers me, though is the shading on her chin. Also, it seems like you make the skin on her shoulder dark, as opposed to having shadow on it. Try increasing the intensity/saturation of the colours?

Yours is a good point, Kay. I didn't realize it before. :) I made the shoulder skin rather dark to emphasize the angle more as the light comes from above her. Also I agree with the colors, she is too pale. :) Thanks for the C&C.

I love this one... She´s beautifully painted...her robes are real good , but maybe if you add some texture to the skin will be great.:)
Cheers!
