I seem to be hitting a wall in Pflow. If I break a certain number of combined polygons it just stops rendering like 80% of my particles. If I reduce the poly count it creates the proper amount again.

Is this a known glitch? Or is there a setting I can enable to allow more polygons?

Look at the Render operator and read the docs - the operator has the options to deal with this problem.
