One word - superb !
If I'd been organised over the years I might have been able to put together a set of furniture for EI but I'm not. Brilliant that someone is doing so and a great looking sofa, does it come in leather ?
These sorts of resources that are native to EI are invaluable to new users (and therefore expanding the user base) and to old dogs like myself who have benefitted from the speed and flexibility of EI over the years but been slightly envious of the plethora of resources seen for other systems. That said I do thoroughly enjoy using EI and being able to rip through high quality animation like no other package.
RPC would be a boon for EI as well. We use FormZ which has just got an RPC plugin however its only for PC - booooooo! I'm still playing with Cristobal Villa's xpressionist RPC-a-like scripting which is very promising.
I'm twitching with anticipation for the release/price point.

RPC is Rich Photorealistic Content as sold by http://www.archvision.com/
Just a clever way of using photos within 3D scenes that update themselves according to the angle you're looking at them. Its how you see so many architectural images fully populated and with great looking cars.

Unfortunately, its PC only, and last I was told, it will remain so :(
How 20th century of them :)

I will do my best to make sure that as the furniture models become available they come with a good variety of textures. They will be image based and easily transferable from one model to another. If there is enough demand I may do a material pack to complement the furniture models.
I am trying to provide good clean UV's with each model, but I'm fairly inexperienced editing UV's - however I'm getting better with each model ;)
Regards & Thanks for the interest

Brian,
Your models and textures look fantastic.
These are definitely higher quality than most of the "stock" 3d content of this type that I have seen. Great job.

Thanks for the kind comments.
I am working hard to get the collection finished ASAP but would prefer to spend more time and deliver a good quality product than to rush it.
I can also deliver the collection for FormZ - Do let Ian or Brian know if that is of any interest.

I think a formZ version would be useful for a lot of people.
I don't know if it should only be offered as a separate product, or bundledd with the EIAS Version. There are a lot of FormZ users that don't even use EI that might want this type of package.

I use both EI and FormZ, albiet FormZ more these days.
The quality looks great! The furniture of some looks home oriented. I am interested in public furniture. Furniture that would go into a car dealership, a mall, a store, or a conference center. Great work.

Steven, do you have access to the EI beta server?
I have a (proprietary) fact furniture collection there (Herman Miller stuff) that I don't mind you downloading...
PM me if you're interested...
