Hi there,

Ive been animating with Lowman for a while now and I've recently built a mesh based on the Lowman shape which is intended to make him a bit more appealing to the eye and generally more humanoid. I also intend to set up some facial controls.

The thing is I hadn't anticipated any problems when it came to skinning him. The forearms and wrists are the issue with the rotating forearm and also the FK and IK function.

Has anyone else successfully skinned Lowman?

Cheers

I managed to get round the problem by creating a complete FK skeleton and constraining it to the Lowman rig. Skinning my mesh onto the new skeleton was then straight forward. It's not pretty but it works!... one of my mottos :D

The correct way of doing it is to skin the character before you make the lowman setup.
