If there's one thing I haven't been able to figure out in texturing (yes, I'm one big texturing-idiot :) ) is how to add decals on a base material.
I was doing this tutorial,
http://www.munkmotion.com/tutorials/nsx/3d.htm
but I'm forgetting something....nice tutorial, but I rather have someone explain me the basic idea, so I can figure out the more complicated stuff.
Can anyone please explain (nothing long, just a few words/steps) on what I should have done to get it right ? :D
Basically, I first make sure my materials are all right, car paint, decals, etc and put I've put those in a seperate library so I can put them together. Say I have 4 decals and one car paint material, I should give them the map channel ID 1 (for car paint), 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the decals.
Well, thanks for any advice/links! :D
