View Full Version : singleShadingSwitch node & frame Extension ?

hi all,

am trying to solve this problem :

i have 20 object.. and one shading material

the material has color file sequance images..

each object has Attribute called : startTime

now .. i want to assign this material to each object but each object has different Frame Extension ..

after tyring singleShadingSwitch.. am not sure if maya can do it?

maybe i can do it with particle instence object:eek:

hmm.. i can darkly remember having tried that as well and i am about 99% sure it did not work with particles..
just create the shaders with mel.. that will be the least painful way i think
