It's been a long time since I've done a purely personal project. This one started with me trying to do a cute robot. But it quickly devolved into something quite different. Once I had finished modelling the robot, the image of the craftsperson posing in his shop jumped to my mind. I tried to build a contrast between the coldness of the cybernetic subject and its environment and the warm of the lighting we often see in a craftsperson studio.
