The new version of my C.O.F.F.E.E. plugin Loony Letters is now available.
It is still in beta-stage, but many improvements have been implemented since the last version:

Stability issues have been resolved
A non-modal dialog makes work much more convenient
Spline-type motion control for smooth animations
User presets can now be saved and loaded
Quickload buttons for fast storing and recalling of work settings
Extrusion parameters have been implemented.
Multiple text animations are now possible.
Still some bugs though, which I hope to get rid off soon - maybe with your help.
So, if you are interested in improving this little plug or just want to have fun with Loony Letters v1.1 feel free to download it HERE (http://www.c4d-goodies.de/loony_letters_en.html).
Free for private and commercial use, C4D version 9.1 or later.

Have fun and thank you for stopping by

He, he, very nice - cool idea to attach other objects to the letters - but you've gotta be careful with this technique: When changing the original textspline or the extrusion parameters, the Loony Letters object get re-initialized. This process deletes the Loony Letters Null Object (just to create it again). So, all of your modifications on any of the sub-objects are lost :-(
But once again, very nice idea.

In english:
if the 8 spline knots available for each animation part (in and out) are not sufficient, try placing several Loony Letter objects with different start in and start out points to build a cascade of typo animations.
