Hey all, is anyone else having problems with DDS's in Vista? Sorry if this is misplaced, this is the closest relevant section I could find.
I have Vista Home Premium and Photoshop CS and 3DS Max 8.
I have a fresh new system and have been importing my work from my backup drive.
the 3D Studio Max error I get is:
Image I/O Error
(then it lists the path)
Error creating Direct 3D Device
I had the DDS version that came with Photoshop CS, then tried the latest from the Nvidia site, no luck. Going to try 6.1 and 5.19 as well. Hopefully I'll have luck. Would be a shame to have to convert all that work on my laptop.
