Part 2 in my king series. I was originally going to do a full 3d render of this guy, but decided to keep him 2d for the moment. Lots of custom brushes, photo collage and hand painted stuff.

Thanks guys.

And yes SeifoSid, it could use more work if I was going for a photoreal finished piece, but this is just a speed painting (did it in 3 hours) to get the general composition and mood of what I was after. Although I'm curious, what do you mean specifically by "shading"? Or do you just mean the painting is loose and you'd like to see the brush strokes be tighter and smoother?

i meant your gray-scale only goes down to an 8 value, some black/10 would have given it some depth.
