fun idea-- i like the concept- i think you have some nice animation here, if you sped some of the scenes up i think it would be even better- snappier. i know that you are working with that music- but i do think the characters move too slow in some places. i think also some offsets in the dance sequence would be good- if you have done this it should be more exaggerated-- just a couple frames here and there would make it much more interesting.

good job.

Yes I did time the animation to the tempo of the music. I think it works. Even thou it want hurt to go a little faster. As for the offset, I am working on that. I thought that I may even animate one or two of the crayons seperately. That may even enhance the dance scene a little.

Thanks for your advice.

Good job. I liked it. I wasnt expecting the whole breaking into dancing bit and thought it worked very well. Its nice to see some fellow AI students showing off their work and upholding the name of AI.

I still want to add to what I have. This was just a teaser. I am hoping to finish real soon. I am guessing that you went to the Art Institute of Philadelphia? I heard that is a pretty good campus.

thats so weird...

and is that the terminator soundtrack :) haha funny... didnt seem to move fast enough for me, sure there would be more passion (?) ha.

plus, what about imperfections in the crayons? i mean theyre all perfect, maybe one should be real short cause its overused or has other parts of crayons and colours on it? i dunno maybe im taking it away from what your after, good job tho.

Ha Ha! I knew sooner or later you'd put this up for everyone to see. Sorry for a long response...they're whipping me here at work. It's good to see that you put up your demo. Come to think of there are few places where I'd speed up the animation, but I still love the "C'mon!"...hilarious! Good job man! One of these days we oughta go and have a  Take it easy and keep on animating :bounce:

P.S.

I'm redesigning my ape...hopefully it'll look way cooler.

not bad, I agree with the above. In some of the long shots there seemed to be some shadows missing, but overall not bad. there was a lot of characters to animate and I can appreciate animating a dance sequence. (watch my demo and you'll see).
I'm from the Ai in Schaumburg and it's good to see other Ai's represented.
nice concept, too
