Hi,
I have just received a copy of the Animation Video Tutorial Set "Animate! with Cirstin McKee" from Anzovin, and started the first lesson. In order to get feedback the lesson plan says I should go to CGTalk.
So here I am, looking for some comments and critique.

Lesson 1
Bouncing Ball Excercise (http://bluesplinearts.de/WIP/Animate_Tut/bouncing_ball_02.mov) 111 KB Quicktime

Light & Heavy (http://bluesplinearts.de/WIP/Animate_Tut/light&heavy_01.mov) 149 KB Quicktime

They're looking good for basic ball bounces. The first one seems like it should lose a little more height with each bounce. Also don't be afraid to use a little more squash and stretch, particularly on the light ball. The way it is now when I look at the animations frame by frame it looks like there might be a little squash when the ball impacts the ground, but if so it's such a small amount I'm not quite sure if it's there or not.

Thanks for your comment.
Initially I had much more squash and stretch on the light ball, but I thought it was to much, so I scaled the effect down. Maybe I did so to much. I will go over it once more and post the result later.

As an extra for this lesson one should animate a ball interacting with its environment. So here is my extra:

Ball & Box (http://bluesplinearts.de/WIP/Animate_Tut/ball&box_03.mov) 751 KB Quicktime

Here is a first approach for the hierarchy & overlap exercise.

Ball with tail jump (http://bluesplinearts.de/WIP/Animate_Tut/ball_tail_jump.mov) 98 KB Quicktime

The ball and box video could be improved by making almost all its bounces faster. They're too slow and it makes it look very floaty.

The overlap animation is pretty good, but could stand to have little more overlapping action as its a bit stiff, especially when it hits the ground.
