View Full Version : Object: High Poly Golf Models
Asorson 02-28-2003, 07:19 AM I was recently hired by Giant Octopus studios to create some hi-rez models for a TV spot on the Golf Channel. I figured I'd share them with you guys. Here's the first completed model. I had a lot of fun on this one, first time in a couple years that I've done any really high poly subdivisional work. Also the first time in a really long time that I've done anything inorganic.

hey nice work...
but...
U have missed one detail on the bag...
it should be a "ring" att the top of the bag... over the handle...
U have the "buckle" over the small "ball"-pocket...
so there should be one on the top too..

Thanks. Here is a render of the control mesh and some closeups of the details.
lurifrax: I don't know yet, Giant Octopus is doing the animation and they just subcontracted me to do some of the models.
macace: oops, guess that's what happens when a non-golfer models golf stuff :D I don't think it will be noticed in the final composition.
