Hi everybody. I started work on my first serious animation project a few days ago.....i have the script and all the details in place but i have a few questions before i continue the modeling on the main character

well....i've been watching lots of animations lately and i stumbled on pixar's "geri's game" and i saw some sweet wrinkle movements. My question is this....should i model the wrinkles and heavy details now....directly from the base mesh....or could i model them in zbrush and import them back in max as a normal map. I'm not in to modeling them now cause i'll make the base mesh too complex and i will have a tough job with the morpher modifier. If i use normal maps will i get the same realistic movement of the skin or will it look weird. What would you do ?
