Im using maya 8.5. Im trying to create an object and two things happen:
A) When i duplicate an object and seperate it in the outliner and take it out of the current layer its in, it does not appear. No matter what I do, i cant seperate it from that layer.
B) Im trying to create a boolean. when i select the boolean/diffrence the object dissapears.
In both cases, the only thing visible are their pivots, but both objects dissapear.
Im wondering why they do this. and are there certain settings i can set to make sure these problems dont happen?
