Maybe explain what is going wrong with your lofting experience and then someone can post a solution or idea to fix your troubles.
I use the loft tool in almost every model I build so I am sure you can get through this.

I think the reason that it had not worked was due to a max bug.
I can loft a rectangle or circle along a path, but when I create a shape from edges on a polygonal box it does not seem to loft well at all. Is there a nother way to loft a shape created from edges of a polygonal object?
I hope this clears things up.

Things to try:
-- use the normalize mod on your shape and spline
-- make sure your pivot point is located in the correct place. Most common is center to the shape.
-- lofting works on the scale factor of your objects, you can use the xform utiliy on your shape to reset it then make sure to collpase all.

I made sure that the axis point was centered and did a reset xform on it as well. I will try the normalize mod on it as well.
Thanks
