View Full Version : Bump Mapping Question

Im wondering if there is a way to layer bump map image files using a layered texture node but assign a different bump depth value to each layer?
I cant seem to do this as there is only one bump node created in the hypergraph no matter how many image files I layer on top of each other.

Which 3d software are you using?

In 3ds max, one can set the "bump amount" for each bitmap, or for each level in the material tree, using the Output rollout of the bitmap, or using the Output map type.
