Title: Poet's Square
Name: Sergey Skachkov
Country: Russia
Software: Photoshop
This piece is my new image from "Utopias" series. It is my free interpretation of one of Moscow's squares. All legends on the buildings are composition names of the poet-futurist who has poetized at the beginning of the twentieth century. I created the image in Photoshop CS with custom brushes.
Comments are most welcome.

Wonderful design. You seem to have blended several existing styles into something different. What was your architectural influence?
I’m probably clutching at straws right now but I see elements of art deco with a pinch of neo classical and a sprinkling of 1930’s European modernism.
Am I slightly correct, or way off the mark?
Any way, excellent work

Wow, stunning amount of detail. I love the vibrant colors. The contrast between the violet sky and warm gold buildings is great. Keep up the good work!

Oh! It's the complicated question. :) You're correct about elements of art deco. But for most part it's eclecticism. Thanks for your opinion and the question!

Beautiful, and that is all I'm able to say.
Man, this is totally gorgeous! Utopia suits it indeed, it's beautifull and it has hope in it:) Your lighting is simply awesome, my only comment is that the banners on the left bring down the scale a bit if you know what I mean, perhaps they should be smaller to make everything look consistent. But then again, it might just be me. Once again very very beautifull. Best regards

But you should`ve chosen another colour of flags, because some people automatically think that the statue is devoted to Lenin )

Perfectly realized utopia. The dancing person (lenin? %) ) on a pedestal has especially pleased! :)

Oh, no! The dansing person is Vladimir Mayakovsky, Russian poet-futurist at the beginning of the twentieth century. :)

A very nice rendering style. Ligthing: superb
Texture: very good, but you can work a little more some reflections, specially on the walls.
