What can I say? It stoped being Resident Evil a long time ago.

Um looks more like Mad Max... or maybe Mad Maxine? Which isn't to say that it couldn't be quite enjoyable as that on it's own, but why then attach it to this token franchise?

Might as well call it "Resident Evil: Las Vegas"

Saw the first one and regret it to this day, there is nothing in that trailer that persuades me to go see it.

I don't know... I think it looks okay. Maybe it isn't Resident Evil anymore, but at least they're trying new things. I quite liked the first film, and although the second had a pretty strange ending I'm looking forward to this... more or less because of the popcorn value of it.

I like it because it gives nothing away. Im sick of trailers showing everything about the movie.

movie will still probably not be very good, but i enjoy that trailer

Oh, god.. not another one. The last one was hilarious. Me and my friends couldn't stop laughing. It worked very well as a comedy, which I'm sure it wasn't intended to be.
For those who haven't already, PLAY RESIDENT EVIL 4! As a horroe movie it works better than any I've seeen in a very long time. As a game it is one of the best you'll ever play.

Its a teaser. When the trailer comes out you can be sure it will show all the money shots.

The series stopped being enjoyable when Alice became the all knowing zombinator with over human skills, thats not what resident evil should be about, but about 'regular' people trying to escape undead hell.

...Yeah... *insert sigh here* I know...

"oh crap, people wont come see it unless we show em action packed key moments in the movie! Lord knows we dont have anything to the movie BUT action packed key moments"

This looks awful. I cant stand the Matrix-esque girl power crap that oozes out of this franchise. Why is this director still clinging to video game movie cliches from the 90's? I would much rather see Silent Hill 2....

You guys don't know how to properly enjoy the Resident Evil films. They are much like the Transporter movies in that they become incredibly more entertaining when you pretend that they are documentaries. As in, that's what Milla Jovovich or Jason Statham's lives are actually like.

I also liked the 1st RE movie as one of the few descent game-to-film films. I skipped 2 and now... post apocalpyse? Wtf? I love post-apocalpytic settings and all but in the Resident Evil franchise? What does this genre and this franchise have to do with each other? Is the next Tomb Raider movie going to have Lara stomping mushroom people and lobbing turtle shells? It seems like Hollywood took the money and ran far, far away with this one.

Especially after RE4 (a game that justifies the purchase of a ps2 or GC), there is so much good story to be had if they just stuck to the source material!

I used to have a hell of a lot of respect for Milla, until after the 2nd RE, I think she just keeps doing them because that is all she has left. I personally find her best performance was in Fifth Element.

First RE wasn't too too bad, but after that it was just painful to watch. The whole knife thing in the teaser really made me cringe.

Another film with Milla Jovovich!

Thats the only reason you need to watch any film

Oh and I loved both the resi films too.

Don't forget "Ultraviolet." Actually, wait: I think that's exactly what we're supposed to with Ultraviolet.

Seriously though, she's said in interviews that she loves doing video game movies because she's a gamer (though maybe she didn't play Resident Evil :P) and it allows her to do some cool ass-kicking against monsters instead of humans. Which I think is actually pretty respectable.
