Hey guys, decided to join yesterday. I figured itd be good practice since I have never made a character model before!

Hes a Crystal Gunner. This little fellow came from a long lost tribe of aliens that collected and used crystals for energy; to power their weapons and civilization. His gun is powered by a giant crystal, which allows three attacks: A crystal blast (think of a machine gun that shoots orbs), and Crystal Ray (a continuous blast of pure crystal energy), and a Crystal Sword (a small blade emerges from the tip using crystal energy).

Heres two quick concepts (sorry for the bad scans, didnt have time to fix it up):

Ya i agree, right after i posted the pictures, i ditched the mustache hehe

K finished the armor, and merged the armor with the body. The armor has crystals sticking out of it. All that is left model wise is to add some slots on his belt and a belt buckle and then i can start to UV this sucker =)
